Here is my favorite communications tool, the Line Messenger app. The Line app is the number one messenger in Asia and is sweet. It features a free chat with many free stickers that are popular in Asia. Plus, there are free phone and video calls, and it has everything that Facebook Messenger has, minus the tracking and spyware of its counterpart that most folks are unaware of. Be bold and try it. Go to your phone’s app store, search for Line Messenger, and download it to your device. Installation is a cinch since it only asks for your phone number the last time I registered an account. I suggest entering your app settings and adding your email address. Otherwise, you can not access the Line website to change your number or password if necessary.

Line Messenger is a great Facebook Messenger alternative. Line offers many alternative services, though most may be in Asia/Japan.
